The gallery, Good Earth Pottery, is in Bellingham, WA but the show was online via Instagram and Facebook Oct 1 - 31. Linda and her sister, Lynnette Gullackson, entered 2 of their shared pieces in the 36th Annual Peace Liard Regional Juried Art Exhibit in Fort Nelson in the summer of 2018. The judges couldn’t decide which one was better so they picked them both to share the top Distinguished Award and $ 1,000.

Linda was pleased to have her fish dish selected as one of 100 pieces for Medalta’s international exhibition ‘Dish’. The show was open from Oct 19 to Jan 30 in Medalta’s gallery at Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Linda was pleased to have her ‘Pod’ juried in for the Potters Guild of BC travelling show ‘BC in a Box’. All pieces had to fit in a 4 inch square box. The show was on tour September and October in 2011.

Textile and Ceramic Artists Collaborate in a Spectacular Show at the Chilliwack Art Gallery 9201 Corbould Street Fibre Earth Fire May 18 - June 23, 2011

Linda was one of the ten artists showcasing the work of artists who regularily fire their ceramics in the wood burning Ombu kiln at Burnaby’s Shadbolt Centre. The exhibition was at the Maple Ridge Art Galley and ran from Feb 27 to April 10, 2010.

10 committee members for the Canadian Clay Ceramic Symposium, Linda included, exhibited their art in this show March 2010 at the Deer Lake Gallery in Burnaby.

Linda collaborated with Sharon and Jay again for an exhibition of spring works for the garden in March of 2010 at the Seymour Art Gallery in Deep Cove North Vancouver.

Linda & Lynnette had one of their Earth & Pine pieces selected for the exhibition “By Hand” at the Vancouver Museum. The show is made up of 51 pieces from Canada’s West Coast with a focus on the artists’ creative processes and studio environments. Jan to April, 2010.

I was invited by Janet Mansfield to organize a group of Canadian Potters to have an exhibition at the Cudgegong Gallery in Gulgong, Australia. The exhibition ran concurrently with the ClayEdge Symposium in April 2007. We also gave a powerpoint presentation on the “Claynadians” to the symposium participants.

The 24 hired hands exhibition at the Deer lake Gallery in March of 2007 was curated to showcase the talent of the ceramic instructors of the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. The “Art – Heart –Earth” exhibition at the Seymour Art Gallery in North Vancouver was held during April 2006 with the opening on Earth Day. The show featured a collaboration of fountains and Jars as well as individual work by the three artists. The pieces in the show were all made to hold the earths bounty of food and plants. Sharon and Jay are my co-workers at the Shadbolt Centre of the Arts.

This show was a tribute to my mother, Jeannine Brown, and is an explor- ation of freedom in life and death. Shortly before her death, she said that the best time of her life was when she left home at age 23 and became “free as a bird”. Leaving her family of 13 brothers and sisters, she was able to do as she pleased. The bird symbolizes freedom and this show represents the search for that freedom. The more we complicate our lives the less freedom we seem to have. I am many people - daughter, mother, sister, friend, lover, wife, teacher, student, potter. As I approach the age of 50, I find myself searching for the freedom that my mother experienced when she was 23. The pieces in this show pose the questions: “What is freedom?” and "Which bird is truly free?".
